Meli Meli is a 2 bedroom, one bath Kauai vacation cottage, with a large living room and fully equipped modern kitchen. It is decorated in a whimsical South Seas decor, with vivid colors, patterns and textures. The exterior is painted bright yellow and is surrounded by coco plams - you'll know you're in the tropics from the second you arrive!

The kitchen is fully stocked and set up for any cooking needs. The cabinets are painted in lacquer red and trimmed with bamboo.

The spacious living room / dining room in this Kauai cottage has high ceilings and is accented with original botanical photographs. A built-in punee (Hawaiian sleeping couch) offsets the two armchairs. The glass dining table rests atop the trunk of a coconut tree and the chinese armoire housing the stero is filled with books and games.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with a beautiful Hawaiian-print comforter, spaceous closet and vintage bureau.

The guest bedroom has two twin beds covered in vintage Hawaiian bedspreads, a roomy closet and a large bureau.

Both bedrooms share a bathroom (with bathtub and shower). There are two outdoor showers if one prefers to wash the sand off under the stars - one is located amidst the concealing leaves of the banana trees!

The garden receives as much attention as the cottages. Flowering vines drip from the fences, coconut leaves rustle in the wind , fruit hangs from the trees, orchids compete for your attention and a majestic banyan and 17 coconut palm trees stand guard over all. There is also a bamboo pavilion (shared with the other cottage) perfect for outdoor dining or just reading a book.
